The Australian Capital Territory has a compact court system centred on two buildings in Canberra City. The ACT Supreme Court and the ACT Magistrates Court share the ACT Law Courts building at 4-6 Knowles Place, and the ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal sits a few minutes walk away at Allara House on Constitution Avenue. There are no regional circuit courts to track. This page links to each ACT list on the site.

How the ACT courts fit together
Criminal charges start in the Magistrates Court. Summary offences are finished there, and serious indictable charges are committed to the Supreme Court for trial or sentence. Civil claims under $25,000 go to ACAT, claims up to $250,000 to the Magistrates Court, and larger claims to the Supreme Court. Appeals from the Magistrates Court, the Childrens Court and ACAT are heard in the Supreme Court, and appeals from a single Supreme Court judge go to the ACT Court of Appeal.
The Childrens Court is in the Law Courts building with its own entrance. Its lists are not republished on this site.
